- In accordance with the MEDPOL program, monitoring of eutrophication has been implemented within the Program for monitoring the status of coastal ecosystem ecosystems as components of the Environmental Monitoring Programs of Montenegro since 2008. Content of analyzes and results required to report appropriately used EcAp indicators 13 and 14, and to: • A - concentration of basic physical chemical parameters and nutrients in water, chlorophyll and TRIKS indices, • B - seawater microbiology, • C - phytoplankton (total abundance, number of major planktonic groups). The trick index is in addition to nutrient content and chlorophyll - an additional indicator for assessing the degree of eutrophication. Represent the numerical value of the degree of eutrophication of coastal waters expressed on trophic scales from 0 to 10 TRIKS units. In the assessment of the ecological status of the marine ecosystem, the Bay of Boka with the aspect of the degree of eutrophication is used for the altered values of chlorophylls and the TRIKS index.
